A separate Israeli drone strike hit a civilian vehicle in the same town, killing two medics inside the car, as reported by the Lebanese state news agency.

The combined death toll reached at least 11, with the casualties including the two children and the two medics, the agency added.

Unlike the Kfar Rumman attack, an Israeli military spokesperson sent an online evacuation warning just after 2:00 a.m. for areas around a building in another southern Lebanese town where Israeli forces planned to strike Hezbollah facilities.

No online evacuation warning was issued for Kfar Rumman before the strike, and the Israeli military has not answered Reuters' questions about whether it knew medics or children were present or why the warning was omitted.

The strikes come as Israel has intensified its bombardment of south Lebanon despite a June ceasefire that was meant to stop fighting with Hezbollah, according to the state news agency.
