0:56I'm deeply moved. It has always been my

0:59dream to come here at least once in my

1:01life and see uncle in person as I'm a

1:04Vietnamese.

1:08>> Up at 4:30 to walk here, it was a

1:11feeling of pride. Even though I'm not

1:14Vietnamese, I can see that the people

1:16adore the country and it brings great

1:19strength.

1:20Beyond [music] Bading Square, residents

1:23and tourists also lined up early this

1:25morning to visit Hanuk's historic signs.

1:28These signs are offering free admission

1:30during this holiday, giving people and

1:33visitors an opportunity to explore the

1:36country's history at Ha Prison. Long

1:39cues straighted along both sides of the

1:42street.

1:44I've seen a lot of videos about this

1:46place online and I wanted to come here

1:48to visit it. Compared to other days, the

1:51number of visitors had tripled during

1:53this holiday. Despite the long wait,

1:56visitors have remained patient and

1:57followed the cues and directions

1:59provided by the site management. From

2:02solemn national ceremonies to vibrant

2:05cultural and artistic activities, Hanoi

2:08is embracing the festive spirit of

2:11Independence Day, helping ensure that

2:14history and traditional values continue

2:16to be experienced and passed on in

2:19contemporary life.
