The Buffalo Bills running back only looks ahead.

Last year, Cook had a great season, but he doesn't want to talk about it because it's in the past.

Cook said, 'I don't like to talk about last year. This year is new.' He wants to do well again.

It's hard to win the rushing title two years in a row, but Cook is trying.

Cook believes in himself and has a good team and coach to help him.

The Bills like to run and pass the ball equally, and Cook will keep running a lot.

Coach Brady said, 'I think James Cook will get even better this year.'

Brady wants Cook to keep working hard and not get worse.

Cook is strong and fast, and he showed it in practice.

In practice, Cook ran through a hole and kept going, and then he hit a defender with his shoulder.

His teammate said, 'Cook will do the same thing this year and play with a lot of intensity.'

Last year, Cook ran for 100 yards or more in nine games and scored 12 touchdowns.

But he did fumble the ball sometimes, which is something he needs to work on.

Coach Brady reminded Cook to protect the ball after he fumbled in practice.

Cook said, 'I fumbled, so I need to fix it. Protecting the ball is my job.'

Cook likes challenges and is good at overcoming them.

Last year, Cook held out for a new contract, but then he played very well.

Cook said he wasn't stressed about the contract, and his teammates were impressed.

His teammate said, 'Cook is explosive and takes care of business on and off the field.'

Cook wants to do even better this year and help his team succeed.

The Bills have not done well in the playoffs, but Cook is hopeful.

Cook said, 'We control our own destiny, so we can make it happen.'

The team is counting on Cook to help them win.
