Review of Corfu's Hidden Gem 5* Hotel with Rooms from £215

Sometimes, an adults-only resort sounds like a great idea. No noise, good food, and freedom to relax. Ella Álkyna in Corfu offers this. It has a nice atmosphere with sea views and good food. You can do nothing or enjoy the sea.
Ella Álkyna is a new, luxury resort above Agios Gordios bay. It's sophisticated but not too expensive.
The resort has 349 rooms.
All rooms face the Ionian Sea. I stayed in a room with a private pool and sea view. There are also budget-friendly rooms with nice views.
The rooms are modern with pale wood and linen. The terrace is the best part. My room had a pool and a great view. The bathroom was big with a good shower.
The resort is on a hill above Agios Gordios beach. Every spot has a sea view. There are pools, a spa, and a wellness center.
The sun loungers by the pool get taken quickly. You don't need to rush, but it's a good idea to go down after breakfast.

The resort has three restaurants: Cocura, Nafs, and Lucáta.
Dining is important here. There are three restaurants and six bars. The food is like what you'd find in a chic city restaurant.
The food has Mediterranean flavors like seafood and olive oil. Most tables are outside, so you can enjoy the sea breeze and sunset.
In late summer, wasps can be a problem when eating outside. They like sweet drinks and honey, so be patient or choose your seat wisely.
There are activities like fitness classes and spa treatments. I liked the Finnish sauna and the massage with Greek oils.

The resort is near Agios Gordios village, which has nice tavernas and sunsets. Try the baklava at Akrogiali Family Taverna.
