I Visited the Best UK Seaside Town and Found Something Unexpected
With its stunning green coastal views, lovely harbour and charged creative energy, Folkestone in Kent has been named one of the UK's best for 2026. The popular spot of Folkestone was featured in a list by Time Out, which described it as one of the country's "most exciting seaside, port, harbour and resort towns". Folkestone is just an hour-long train ride from London. Sending my deepest apologies to Brighton, I embarked on a journey to discover something new.
