Visit the Beautiful Manor from Rivals

Rivals is back on TV, and people are interested in its beautiful setting in the UK's Cotswolds, including a stunning manor.
The show's countryside setting is important, with beautiful backgrounds and luxury homes in the fictional county of Rutshire.
One setting is The Priory, home of Declan O'Hara in the show, but in real life, it's a private home called Chavenage House.
Chavenage House is in Tetbury and was run by Rona Lowsley-Williams for 67 years until she passed away in 2025.
The house is from the Elizabethan era, built in 1576, and has been changed over time with additions in the 17th, 19th, and 20th centuries.
It's a Grade I listed building.
You can see it in Rivals.
The house has been used for filming many TV shows and movies, including Poldark and Lark Rise to Candleford.
Chavenage House was also in The House of Eliott, Casualty, and Dracula.
Now, people can visit the house when it's not being used for filming.
Visitors can book a tour of the house, but it's limited and subject to availability.
The cost is £12 for adults and £6 for children, or £250 for a private tour.
A visitor said it's a special place with a lot of history and the owners are nice.
Another visitor said they enjoyed Chavenage House more than other estates and castles.
The host gives a personal tour, which makes it a special experience.
