BBC Breakfast Viewers React to New Presenter

BBC Breakfast viewers are surprised.

A new BBC journalist is hosting BBC Breakfast and fans do not recognize them.

Many stars have hosted the morning show over the years. Fans see different faces each week, like Naga Munchetty and Jon Kay.

The show was back on BBC screens on Sunday. Co-host Rachel Burden was back to discuss big stories.

Rachel was joined by a new presenter, Welsh journalist Lewis Vaughan Jones.

Lewis is back on screens.

Viewers reacted to Lewis on social media. One person asked, "Who's he?" Another person said Lewis is professional but not suited to the sofa.

A third person praised Lewis, saying he is great and better than Jon Kay.

Lewis has worked in TV for over 20 years. He started at ITV Wales in 2005 and became a political correspondent at ITV News 10 years later.

Lewis joined the BBC in 2018 and presents on BBC News and BBC World News. He also hosts BBC Breakfast and was once battered by rain and wind on camera.

Lewis is married to journalist Hannah Vaughan Jones. Hannah has appeared on CNN International and Sky News.

Lewis and Hannah have a son, Matheson, born in 2019 after 15 rounds of IVF. They spent £80,000 and had given up hope.

Lewis has been on screens for years.

Lewis and Hannah tried many times to have a baby. They were surprised when the last embryo worked.

Hannah said they had many years of heartache but got the best Christmas present, their son.

Hannah said they were public about their struggles with infertility, which was painful and private before.
