Fleetwood Mac Star Gets Protection from Alleged Stalker

Lindsey Buckingham got a 5-year order to keep a woman away after she bothered him at home.

A woman who allegedly harassed Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham was arrested after throwing something at him.

Michelle Dick was arrested in Indiana on a Los Angeles warrant after many incidents targeting Buckingham, who she claims is her father. She faces 7 charges.

Buckingham was not hurt, but Dick faces many charges, including threatening him and damaging his car.

Buckingham helped make Fleetwood Mac famous with their 1977 album Rumours.

Buckingham already had a protection order against Dick due to her constant harassment.

Dick bothered Buckingham at home, called him repeatedly, left threatening messages, and made a fake emergency call.

Police went to Buckingham's house, handcuffed him, and later found out Dick blamed him for her childhood problems and demanded money. Buckingham said he doesn't know Dick and is not her father.

A judge ordered Dick to stay away from Buckingham and his family for 5 years.

But Dick is said to have kept bothering Buckingham despite the order.

Dick said she went to Buckingham's house once, but claimed she didn't know about the order. She said Buckingham is her birth father, but not a real father to her.

Dick is waiting to be sent back to California to face the law. Buckingham is a famous guitarist and songwriter who joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975.

Dick, 55, is waiting to be sent to California to face 7 charges, including threatening Buckingham and using a deadly weapon.

Buckingham's work made Fleetwood Mac's 1977 album Rumours very successful.

He wrote and performed many famous songs, including 'Go Your Own Way' and 'The Chain'.

Buckingham was removed from Fleetwood Mac in 2018, but has had a successful solo career.

In 2024, Buckingham was added to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist, in addition to his earlier induction as a member of Fleetwood Mac.
