Emily Maitlis has a new documentary about the Epstein Files. The documentary was announced seven years after she interviewed Andrew about his connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

The documentary is called The Epstein Files and will include stories from survivors and analysis of documents and networks connected to Epstein.

Maitlis said she has spent her career covering stories that powerful people don't want her to cover. The Epstein case is a big example of this.

Maitlis said the survivors have waited long enough for answers. She wants this series to provide answers, not just more questions.

In 2019, Maitlis and Newsnight interviewed Andrew about his connection to Epstein. Andrew met Epstein through Ghislaine Maxwell.

Andrew, Epstein, and Maxwell spent time together at many places. They saw each other even after Epstein was convicted of a crime.

Virginia Giuffre said Andrew assaulted her when she was 17. Andrew denies this.
