Amber Davies Responds to Claims About Her Career

Amber Davies said she did not go on Love Island to become a star.

Amber Davies said she didn't go on Love Island just to help her stage career. She was on the show in 2017 and won it with her then-boyfriend Kem Cetinay.

Before she was famous, Amber trained in musical theatre in London. She wanted to perform in the West End. After winning Love Island, she was in the musical 9 to 5 with Louise Redknapp.

Amber had big roles in Pretty Woman: The Musical and The Great Gatsby. She was also on Strictly Come Dancing and made it to the final with her partner Nikita Kuzmin.

Amber became famous when she won Love Island in 2017.

Amber said she went on Love Island because she couldn't find a job. She spoke with Jacob Fowler, who got his big break on Little Mix: The Search.

Amber said on her podcast, 'I did Love Island because I couldn't get a job. I didn't want to work at a bar, and Love Island gave me a free holiday for six weeks.'

Amber is currently in a UK tour of Legally Blonde: The Musical. The show had a tough start due to cast illnesses, and Amber had to take time off.

While Amber was away, Hannah Lowther took her place. There were rumors of a feud, but both actresses said it wasn't true.

Last year, Amber was in the final of Strictly Come Dancing with Nikita Kuzmin.

Amber is now starring as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.
