Daryl Hall, from the band Hall & Oates, told his fans about his health after having a kidney transplant. He had the surgery a couple of weeks ago and is already feeling better.

Daryl wrote on social media: 'I got a new kidney from a very kind donor.'

Daryl said, 'I had the transplant a couple of weeks ago, and I'm feeling better. My doctors say it was a success! I'll be back to normal soon, and I'll make more music and have more shows. Take care!'

Daryl is famous for being in Hall & Oates with John Oates.

Daryl didn't say why he needed the surgery, but his fans wished him well. One fan said, 'I'm happy to hear you're getting better! I hope you recover fully.'

Another fan said, 'We were worried about you. Please take care and get well soon.'

A fan wrote, 'I'm sorry to hear this, but I'm glad you're getting better. I was thinking you were quiet lately, but I didn't expect this. I wish you a swift recovery.'

Fans told Daryl to focus on getting better.

It's not clear when Daryl will make music again, but his last album was in 2024.

Daryl last performed live in August. He and John Oates won't be making music together again soon because they grew apart.

John Oates said they stopped working together because their goals changed as they got older.
