1. Stephen Eustáquio helped Canada win.

It seemed like the game would go into extra time.

South Africa's team was defending very well.

But then Stephen Eustáquio scored a goal, and Canada won.

Eustáquio started the game as Canada's captain and led his team to the next round.

Eustáquio said, 'I do everything for my family.'

He said, 'I do it for my parents, girlfriend, daughter, brother, and friends.'

Canada's coach, Jesse Marsch, said something about the team.

Marsch said, 'You are heroes. The future of sports in Canada is big because of you.'

2. Did Canada deserve a penalty?

Richie Laryea might have been treated unfairly because of his past.

Laryea fell down in the penalty area, but the referee said no penalty.

The referee and VAR agreed that it was not a penalty.

But some people think it should have been a penalty.

A former referee said, 'I think that's a foul and a penalty.'

Another player said, 'It looks like a penalty, but Laryea has done this before.'

3. Algeria's fans in Kansas are happy.

Algeria's team is staying in a town in Kansas and feels at home.

The town has welcomed Algeria's team with open arms.

There are videos of fans celebrating with the team.

Algeria's coach said, 'It's amazing to see so many people supporting us.'

The coach said, 'We will try to make them happy.'

After Algeria won, the fans celebrated with fireworks.

4. Algeria and Austria did not plan their game.

Some people thought Algeria and Austria might have planned to draw.

But the game was very exciting, and both teams tried to win.

Austria's coach said, 'No one can think that we planned this.'

5. South Korea's president is upset.

The president of South Korea was very angry about the team's loss.

The president said, 'I'm shocked and confused.'

The president thinks that the team's leaders made bad decisions.

South Korea lost to Mexico and South Africa, so they did not advance.

The coach had already been criticized for being chosen for the job.

The president said that the team's problems are because of bad leadership.

The coach quit his job after the president criticized him.
