Miami Grand Prix Starts Earlier Due to Bad Weather

The Miami Grand Prix will start three hours earlier than planned. This is because Formula 1 and the FIA want to avoid the thunderstorms that are coming to south Florida.

The start time has been changed to 1pm in Miami and 6pm in the UK. This is like what they did for the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix when there were similar weather problems.

Formula 1, the FIA, and the Miami Grand Prix promoter said they made this decision because of the weather forecast, which says there will be heavy rain later in the afternoon.

They want to make sure the race is not disrupted and that everyone is safe, including the drivers, fans, teams, and staff.

Because of the new start time, some other races have been changed. The Formula 2 feature race will now start at 9:25am, and the Porsche Carrera Cup North America race has been cancelled.

Kimi Antonelli will start the F1 Grand Prix in first place after doing very well in the qualifying rounds. Max Verstappen was the only other driver who could have taken first place, but he was not fast enough.

On Saturday, Lando Norris won the Sprint race, which was a great start to the weekend. He was followed by his teammate Oscar Piastri, and Charles Leclerc came in third.

Lando Norris said he was happy with his win and that his car is working better now. He said it was hot and he was sweating, but he kept pushing and the car was consistent and predictable.
