Big Crash at Monza Race Track

A big crash stopped the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup race at Monza. About 12 cars were involved, and eight had to stop racing.

The crash happened when two cars touched each other. The other cars then skidded in different directions, causing chaos.

Maxime Martin in the #17 GetSpeed Mercedes was blamed for the crash. He had made a good start, but his path was blocked.

Martin said he didn't do anything wrong. He said, 'I didn't touch anyone, and my car is not damaged.'

Martin explained that he had to drive off the track because he had no space. He then safely returned to the track without hitting anyone.

Videos show that Martin didn't hit anyone, but his actions may have caused another car to swerve.
