Thomas Tuchel Talks About Djed Spence Incident

Thomas Tuchel was very active on the sidelines as he tried to talk to Djed Spence.

Thomas Tuchel says he had to shout at Djed Spence so he could hear him.

Djed Spence, a Tottenham defender, got yelled at by Thomas Tuchel during the game against Ghana. Tuchel wanted Spence to do more going forward.

Tuchel said he was happy with Spence's defense, but wanted him to be more involved in attacks.

Tuchel thinks Spence did okay for his first big game with England, and he needs to start attacks from wider positions.

Tuchel says he has to shout to be heard. Everything is fine with Djed Spence. They brought in Nico O'Reilly, and it almost worked with a header and a chance for Harry Kane.

Djed Spence probably won't get in trouble with FIFA for not shaking hands with Thomas Partey before the game. FIFA hasn't said anything officially yet.

It was only noticed on TV that Spence didn't shake hands with Partey before the game.

Thomas Partey is facing serious charges in the UK, including rape and sexual assault, from incidents between 2020 and 2022.
