Man City Agree to Sign Elliot Anderson for a High Fee

Man City have agreed to pay a record fee for Elliot Anderson.

Manchester City will sign Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for a large amount of money, just below the British record.

Nottingham Forest wanted a high price for Anderson and got it after some tough talks.

Man City will pay £116m for Anderson, and the deal is their biggest yet. They really wanted him despite the high price.

This is more than Man City paid for Jack Grealish, their previous record signing.

Anderson can now have a medical check in New York, but the deal still needs some details to be agreed. His coach said players can move teams during the World Cup.

Anderson joined Nottingham Forest last year from Newcastle for £35m.

Since joining Forest, Anderson has played very well and was always going to make the team a lot of money. He has played for England and started in World Cup games.
