Microsoft Outlook has been offline for almost 24 hours, but there's a simple solution.

Microsoft advised iPhone users to sign back into their accounts manually. The company said iOS users must re-enter their password.

If you're using an iPhone and can't access Outlook, try these steps:

Fix Outlook on iPhone

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Scroll down and tap Mail.

Select Accounts, then choose the affected email account.

Tap Account Settings or the Password field.

Enter your correct password and tap Done.

Open the Mail app and check that your account is syncing and emails can be sent and received.

Once completed, you should be able to access your emails again.
