Greggs to Open in Spain

Holidaymakers can buy Greggs sausage rolls at Tenerife South airport from this month. Greggs last had shops abroad in Belgium in 2008.

The shop will have bakes, rolls, and sweet treats. A Spanish omelette roll will be available for breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice.

Tenerife South airport has 13 million holidaymakers a year, with 50% from the UK. The location is perfect for a trip without breaking the bank.

The shop will have seating for 92 customers. The CEO said it's a great location to test Greggs abroad.

Greggs is bringing a slice of home to the Canaries and is confident its great-value offering will work well in Spain.

The new shop will open with Lagardere Travel Retail, which has over 5,000 stores worldwide. The CEO of Lagardere Travel Retail Spain and Portugal is delighted to partner with Greggs.
