A Lovely UK Village Has a Great Pub

Spring is a great time to visit a nice village near Oxford, Aylesbury, and Milton Keynes.

Chinnor is a big village with old and new things. It has a main street with small shops and some pubs.

One pub is special because a famous chef likes it. Raymond Blanc likes the pub's Sunday lunch.

Raymond Blanc said: 'The Sir Charles Napier is one of my favourite places to have lunch with my sons and friends. It's very relaxing and the food is great. The gardens are also beautiful and big.'

This pub is great because it has a nice atmosphere and beautiful gardens. It's often on lists of the best UK pubs.

There are other nice pubs in the area too. The Red Lion has old beams and a nice garden.

After lunch, you can walk in the countryside or take a train ride. The train goes through the Chilterns hills.

You can buy a day ticket for the train or visit the town of Princes Risborough. There are also special train rides with cream teas.

There's an old windmill in Chinnor that's being fixed. You can also walk around the Chinnor Quarry Circular Walk.

Some of the quarries were used in a James Bond movie. They were used as a background for a hovercraft scene.

Nearby, there's a wildlife hospital with rescued animals like hedgehogs and foxes. You can visit and help the hospital.

There's also a beautiful manor house called Waddesdon. It's a French-style house with nice interiors and gardens.
