Airline Closes Down, Leaves Passengers Without Luggage

People are stuck without their bags after a big airline stopped working.

Spirit Airlines, a large US budget airline, said it was closing down now.

The airline said, 'All Spirit flights are cancelled, and guests should not go to the airport.'

As a result, passengers could not get on their next flights and were stuck at US airports, unsure where their bags were.

On Sunday, a day after the airline closed, some people were still waiting at airports for their bags.

A passenger said they 'don't know what to do' and were trying to find out where their bags were.

The stuck traveller told NBC6, 'I'm stuck because I don't have my bags, so I'm just staying here.'

Grace Florez was travelling from North Carolina to Colombia but got stuck in Fort Lauderdale after her next flight was cancelled.

Two days later, she still didn't know where her bags were.

Grace said, 'It's hard and frustrating. I just go with it and don't stress, but I need to work tomorrow. I have to wait and see what happens. I'm trying to stay calm.'

The airline's customer service is not working, so she can't get any help.

Grace said, 'I have no idea what to do. I hope my bags are somewhere. I'm waiting to see what happens. I don't know what will happen next.'
