Ancient Woodland in UK Named One of Europe's Most Magical Forests

One of Britain's last ancient rainforests is now on a list of Europe's most enchanting forests. Wistman's Wood in Dartmoor is third on the list because it is in a remote area, has old trees, and is very beautiful.

Travel experts looked at lesser-known European forests. Perućica Rainforest in Bosnia and Herzegovina is first, and Spain's Otzarreta Forest is second.

Wistman's Wood is the only British forest on the list, but it's easy to see why it's there.

Wistman's Wood is near Exeter Airport, so it's easy to visit.

The area feels like a hidden treasure, with a special atmosphere and beautiful scenery.
