New Cave Found in Old Forest in Central Vietnam

A new cave was found on June 23 in the Bac Huong Hoa Nature Reserve.

The team thinks there may be more stalactites and water inside the cave. But they need special tools to explore.

The cave is near another cave with nice stalactites found ten years ago.

Karst caves are made when water dissolves rocks over time. They have nice formations and are good for animals.

There are nice stalactites in the new cave in Quang Tri Province.

The management board will work with experts to map the cave.

The findings will help protect the cave and see if it can be a tourist spot.
