0:25needs to look like and a lot of that

0:27work happens inside these tools.

0:40things that we work on are sensitive to

0:42oxygen and water.

0:44>> These materials aren't even used in

0:46chips yet.

0:58>> So the reason why researchers are

1:00looking at new materials is because in

1:03chip making it's not just about how the

1:05machines work. It's also what you put

1:08into them. Every layer of the chip needs

1:11its own mix of chemicals and elements

1:14and figuring out what those are is

1:16especially important right now because

1:19the [music] ones the industry relies on

1:20today are starting to reach their atomic

1:23limits.
