This year, many fans made short films based on Jin Yong's novels, which got a lot of attention for their great visuals.

On August 3, a hashtag about AI making a dream movie went viral on Weibo. It was about 'Return of the Condor Heroes'.

Thousands watched AI-made videos with big mountains, eagles, and battles. Many liked how it showed the big world of martial arts. Many praised the tech for its visuals.

A one-minute video by Faye Glide got a lot of attention for its movie-like visuals and romantic feel.

Though the tech is not perfect, some viewers want to see a full AI-made 'Return of the Condor Heroes', calling it a new era in filmmaking.

However, AI was not good at showing the characters' personalities and emotions.

Some viewers did not like how Yang Guo and Xiaolongnu were portrayed, saying they lacked depth. The AI Xiaolongnu did not capture her cold elegance like actress Li Ruotong did.

Faye Glide made an AI version of Xiaolongnu. It's on Weibo.

Jin Yong's 'Return of the Condor Heroes' has been made into a movie or TV show over 10 times.

The TV versions were very popular in Asia in the 80s and 90s, making the story and characters cultural icons.

The novel is about Yang Guo and Xiaolongnu's romance. Xiaolongnu is a beautiful, distant woman shaped by her isolation.

Now, people want to see AI adaptations of other Chinese myths and legends.

In June, Utopai and Huace Media teamed up to make an AI-animated film called 'Journey to the West: 500 Years of Loneliness'. They are working on it. It will be fun.

This trend is moving from the internet to TV.

In July, Dongfang TV and Zhejiang TV showed their first AI-made films, like 'Legend of the White Snake' and 'Peach Blossom Pool Chronicles'.

This was a big step for AI-made films, as they went from smartphones to TV.

Li Xiao from Beijing Film Academy said these broadcasts show traditional media trying to use new tech and reach more people with AI content.

The goal is to use new tech to retell old stories and preserve China's cultural heritage.

The Condor and Yang Guo are now in AI form. It's on Weibo.
