Walk the Old Pavi Stone Road in Vietnam
On July 29, a challenge called 'Footsteps Above the Clouds' was announced to walk on the Pavi Stone Road.
The event will happen on October 4 and is open to the public to show the beauty of Vietnam's Northwest and inspire people to explore.
This event helps bring visitors to remote villages and improves the lives of local people.
What makes this old stone road a great place to walk?
The Pavi Road was built a long time ago to connect Lai Chau with Sa Pa.
It is one of the best old stone roads in northern Vietnam's mountains.
The road was made with big stones to make it strong and safe to use all year.
Even after many years, the road still looks like it did when it was first made.
Today, the Pavi Stone Road is important for its history and as a beautiful place to visit.
Visitors can walk through nice forests, see waterfalls, and meet local people from different ethnic groups.
The route has beautiful views of rice fields that look like a painting.
This makes for a special trip where nature and local culture come together.
As people walk higher, the road gets quieter and they can see old stone parts under the moss, making it more exciting but also slippery.
