Ontario Conservative MP Larry Brock Leaves Parliament
Conservative MP Larry Brock will resign from Parliament next month.
Brock was elected to Parliament twice, first in 2021 and again in 2025, for the Ontario area of Brantford—Brant South—Six Nations.
Before being an MP, he worked as an assistant Crown attorney.
Brock said he is going back to work at the Brantford Crown Attorney's office.
There is a picture on Twitter about this news.
Brock's resignation will start on September 18, as said in his letter.
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre thanked Brock for his work on social media.
Poilievre wished Brock and his family all the best and said 'God bless, my friend'.
Conservative MPs still support their leader.
The leader wants a way to remove MPs who switch parties.
Since the 2025 election, seven MPs have left the Conservative group, including Brock.
Four Conservative MPs joined the Liberal party.
One MP was appointed to the Senate by the Prime Minister in July.
Another Conservative MP, Cathay Wagantall, is resigning her seat at the end of August.
