Leeds spent £35 million on a new player, Georginio Rutter, in 2023. He was the most expensive player they ever signed.

Rutter didn't score any goals in 11 games, and Leeds got relegated. But he did well in the Championship and helped the team try to get back to the Premier League.

Leeds didn't get back to the Premier League, but they made money when they sold Rutter to Brighton. He has scored 11 goals for Brighton.
