Vietnam Approves Plan for Important Technologies
The program wants to develop and sell important technology products. It also wants to create a system for these technologies and help the government, businesses, and science organizations work together.
From 2026 to 2030, the program aims to master at least four important technologies and develop at least 15 products. At least five of these products should be sold in other countries, helping Vietnam participate more in the global market.
The program wants products to be made in Vietnam at least 40% of the time. It also wants to help at least 20 businesses develop important technologies and products, with at least five selling products globally.
From 2031 to 2035, the program wants to master six important technologies and develop at least 25 products, with at least 15 sold internationally. At least 30 businesses should develop these technologies, with at least 10 participating in the global market.
The program has five main tasks to achieve its goals, including improving policies, developing products, and helping businesses sell their products.
The government will encourage the use of products developed under this program and support businesses in selling and trading these products. It will also help companies work together and expand their markets.
The program will focus on developing the skills of its workers and will try to attract experts and scientists. It will also build a network of experts in important technologies and work with other countries on research and development.
The program will invite foreign experts to participate and will work with other countries to set standards for these important technologies.
