The NYT's new daily word game is very popular on social media. The Times thanks Wyna Liu for helping create the game. You can play Connections on your computer or phone.

Each puzzle has 16 words, and they are split into four groups. These groups can be about book titles, software, or country names. There is only one correct answer.

If you get all four words in a group correct, they are removed from the board. If you guess wrong, it counts as a mistake. You can make up to four mistakes.

You can also move the words around to make it easier to find the connections. Each group has a color: yellow is easy, green is medium, blue is hard, and purple is very hard. You can share your results on social media.
