0:00I always think the hardest part in most CEO's job is not to figure out

0:06necessarily the sort of direction of travel, but it's the speed of travel.

0:10You do not want to move too slowly and be left behind,

0:12but you also don't want to move so fast that the organization cracks beneath you or around you.

0:18And so, the direction of travel was we're going to become a technology company. The question was

0:22how fast can we go? And I think there was a moment where I thought look our employees,

0:28as employees all over the world, are under tremendous stress,

0:32tremendous personal stress at home. You know, are they well? Are their families or their kids

0:36and their parents and everyone around them well in the face of this complete unknown pandemic?

0:43The question was well should we sort of hold back a little bit in this transition?

0:47But the more time I spent with our customers, the more I realized we don't have a choice here

0:53because the customers are going to take this opportunity to also work from home.

0:58They're going to take this opportunity to rapidly accelerate a shift to the cloud. And if we take

1:03a pause, by the time the pandemic finishes, we will be three laps of the track behind.
