A synagogue in Saskatoon was vandalized during a service.

People were inside for a service when eggs were thrown at the doors and windows, said Rabbi Claudio Jodorkovsky.

Cars in the parking lot were also damaged. A child saw someone approaching the entrance.

The rabbi said it's hard not to feel afraid after what happened.

Hatred can start with small acts like vandalism. It can grow if no one stops it.

Local leaders should support the synagogue and the Jewish community.

The mayor of Saskatoon said the vandalism is very troubling.

The mayor said acts like this go against the city's values of respect and inclusion.

The police in Saskatoon are not looking into the matter yet.

The police said they haven't received a report about the incident.
