World's Second-Best Airport Opens Earlier for Summer Travel

The Justice Ministry announced a special plan for Incheon Airport during summer travel. It starts on July 23 and ends on August 8.

Terminals 1 and 2 will open earlier. Terminal 1's Departure Halls 2 and 4 will open at 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. Terminal 2's Departure Hall 2 will open at 5 a.m.

More immigration officers will be added to help passengers. Terminal 1 will have 32 officers, and Terminal 2 will have 20 officers.

Families with children can now register for automated immigration clearance inside the airport.

Before, children had to go to an immigration center outside the airport to register.

Incheon Airport expects many passengers during the summer travel period. About 3.88 million people will travel through the airport from July 25 to August 10.

Incheon Airport is the world's second-best airport. It had 19.78 million international passengers from January to March, the most among all international airports.
