Nguyen Thi Sau is 101 years old. She has black hair and can walk with a frame. She broke her hip, but she got better.
She had a hard life.
Nguyen Thi Sau lives in Nghe An Province. She is known for being strong and healthy.
She was born in 1925. Her childhood was very hard because of war.
Her son says that the US Air Force bombed their area in 1967 and 1968.
Bombs fell every day. Older people and children had to leave. Nguyen Thi Sau carried her babies to a safe place.
Nguyen Thi Sau had 12 children. Three of them died when they were young.
Her husband died in 1979. She took care of their children alone.
Years later, she moved to live with her son's family. Then she moved back to Nghe An Province.
Now she has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is happy when they work hard and live together.
Nguyen Thi Sau always had long black hair. Now it is shorter, but still black.
She is 101 years old. She can't hear well and can't remember things. But she still eats with her family.
A few years ago, she could still see and mend clothes. Now her eyes are weak.
She recovered from a big injury.
Five years ago, Nguyen Thi Sau broke her hip.
She fell while sweeping the yard. She crawled back to the house and called for help.
The doctors said she needed surgery. But her family decided to take care of her at home.
Everyone thought she would die. But she got stronger.
Now she can walk with a frame. She is very strong.
Nguyen Thi Sau lived through war and saw Vietnam change. She raised her children and now has a big family.
She is a strong woman and an inspiration to her family.
There are two people over 100 years old in her neighborhood. Nguyen Thi Sau is one of them.
