Cowork helps users with tasks that involve many tools. Most users work on everyday tasks, not software development.

The expansion lets users start a task on one device and finish it on another. Tasks can also run in the background without a device connected.

The web and desktop versions of Cowork now have a single interface. The desktop app still has more features, but mobile and web versions are more accessible.

To celebrate the launch, Anthropic is increasing Cowork usage limits until August 5.
