Singapore Data Center Company Plans to Raise $5 Billion

A Singapore data center company may list on the US stock market as early as next quarter.

The company raised $4.5 billion from investors in June, including Coatue Management and Hillhouse. New investors also joined. This funding round was very successful.

A data center in Malaysia is part of the company's operations.

The new funds will help the company grow in several countries, including Singapore and Japan.

The company has already booked over 1.5 gigawatts of capacity in Asia and Europe. Its investors include big names like SoftBank and China's GDS Holdings.

The company has a large portfolio of data centers, with 480 megawatts already in use or being built, and more planned for the future.

Investors are very interested in data centers now, especially with the growth of AI. Another company, Firmus Technologies, recently got $2 billion in investments.

Other data center companies, like Switch and Nscale, are also planning to list on the US stock market in 2026.
