The State Bank of Vietnam has lowered its dollar exchange rate by 0.02% to 25,561 dong.
The world currency market has been stable this week. Higher oil prices and problems in the Middle East have helped the dollar. But good US jobs and inflation reports have reduced the chance of US interest rate increases.
The euro is now 0.2% lower at $1.1536. The British pound is unchanged at $1.3489. The Australian dollar is at $0.7060.
The Japanese yen is at 159.36 per US dollar. This is close to the 160 level that could make traders buy more yen. Last month, the US and Japan tried to help the yen, but it did not work.
The yen has lost about half of its gains from the intervention. It has fallen 1% this week to 159.43 per dollar.
South Korea's currency, the won, has been more stable than the yen. It was also helped by the government selling dollars last month. The won is expected to lose 0.6% against the dollar this week.
