Lauren Graham shared the news on Instagram with old photos.

She said, 'Oh hey, hi … we’re making a documentary.'

The photos included Alexis Bledel and other castmates.

The town in the show doesn't exist, but the house is real.

One fan wrote: 'I screamed when I saw this.'

Another fan said it was the best day of their life.

The show is still popular because it's cozy and nostalgic.

The show gets more views every autumn on streaming platforms.

HBO Max says this is the first authorized documentary.

Another documentary with the cast is also being made.
