Investors Sue Selena Gomez Over Mental Health Startup
Selena Gomez was sued by investors who claim she committed fraud by not doing her job to build and promote her mental health startup.
The investors put $1.2 million into Wondermind Global, which started in 2021 to help people improve their mental health. The lawsuit was filed in a federal court in Delaware. The company promised to help users strengthen their mental fitness.
The investors were told that Selena Gomez would be involved in building the company as the head of marketing. However, they claim that Gomez and other leaders did not keep their promises, including creating a mobile app.
The lawsuit says that Gomez signed a contract but did not follow it.
The investors claim that the company did not have a real plan and failed to meet its basic obligations, such as paying employees and vendors on time.
Selena Gomez got married to Benny Blanco.
More Canadian youth are texting for mental health help at night.
A representative for Gomez did not respond to a request for comment right away.
The lawsuit says that the investors did not know about the company's problems until a news story came out in September 2025. The investors want their money back and to be paid for their legal fees.
