A man is on trial for killing his 9-year-old daughter in New York. Prosecutors will finish their case soon.

The man, Luciano Frattolin, is in court in Elizabethtown, New York. He is charged with murder and hiding a body.

Luciano Frattolin says he did not do it. He has been in jail since July 2025.

The jury saw a video the girl sent to her mom. She sent it a few hours before she was reported missing.

The girl's phone was used one hour after she sent the video. Then, it was not used again.

The next day, they found the girl's body in a marsh in New York.
