Sun Group and Accor Work Together on Big Hotel Project

The signing ceremony happened with Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of Accor, showing the group's commitment to working with Sun Group to create new hospitality standards and proving Vietnam's appeal as a top destination.

Accor will run many properties, from mid-scale to luxury, including hotels and serviced apartments, under several brands at the Bai Dat Do development and Hon Thom Island in Phu Quoc.

In Da Nang, Accor will manage properties like Sofitel, Swissôtel, and MGallery at the DIFF Fireworks Festival & Commercial Complex and Ba Na Hills.

This partnership will bring new brands like Sofitel, Swissôtel, TRIBE, and SO/ to Vietnam, enriching Sun Group's resort portfolio and catering to travelers' and investors' evolving tastes.

Sébastien Bazin said at the signing ceremony that the partnership shows both companies' long-term cooperation in Vietnam.

Bazin said they focus on expanding their network in destinations that help travelers connect with the culture and natural beauty of the country.

Accor has over 5,800 hotels in 110 countries, with Vietnam being its third-largest market in Asia, and 45 properties nationwide, and it operates more than 5,800 hotels and resorts.

The group has over 110 million loyalty program members worldwide, which could bring international visitors to the new properties.

Expanding hospitality in Phu Quoc is part of the plan.

The Phu Quoc projects are part of Sun Group's broader tourism and infrastructure developments on the island.

Bai Dat Do is being developed as a beachfront area, while Hon Thom will be a resort and entertainment spot.

Phu Quoc will also welcome Rixos Phu Quoc Resort, an all-inclusive luxury resort, set to open this year.

Sun Group is also working on transport infrastructure in Phu Quoc.

The company launched Sun PhuQuoc Airways and partnered with Changi Airports International to develop Phu Quoc International Airport.

The new Accor properties will increase accommodation capacity as Phu Quoc prepares for APEC 2027.

New hospitality projects are coming to Da Nang.

In Da Nang, Accor-managed properties will be part of a mixed-use development with hospitality, retail, and entertainment.

The project combines accommodation with year-round entertainment and commercial activities.

Accor's presence will also grow at Ba Na Hills, adding new hospitality options.
