1:04city. In 2025, Guang Ning's total import

1:08export turnover reached approximately

1:1021.6 billion US, accounting for 18.1% of

1:15trade through border gates between

1:17Vietnam and China.

1:20Responding to the expectations of the

1:23party's central committee, the national

1:25assembly and the government, Guanging

1:27will strive to become one of the leading

1:28economic centers in northern Vietnam

1:30within the Hano Hamanging Economic

1:33Triangle. It will also strengthen

1:35regional connectivity and expand

1:37international cooperation.

1:40In the first seven months of this year,

1:42Guanging attracted more than1 billion US

1:45in FDI. This comes as Vietnam shifts

1:47towards a more selective approach to

1:50next generation FDI, prioritizing high

1:52technology, low emission projects,

1:54stronger technology transfer, and closer

1:57links with domestic businesses.

2:02>> One of strength is its investment and

2:04business environment. In recent years,

2:07the province had paid particular

2:09attention to improving that environment.

2:11Previously, the focus was largely on

2:14investment volume. At this stage,

2:16however, we are moving towards a more

2:18selective quality based approach,

2:20attracting investors with strong

2:22potential, particularly in green and

2:24clean industries with high audit value.

2:30>> Guanging still has considerable room for

2:32growth supported by its existing

2:34strengths in infrastructure, tourism,

2:37industry, and border trade. Becoming a

2:39centrallygoed city is expected to create

2:42new development space and provide

2:44further momentum to accelerate growth in

2:46locality and reinforce its role as a

2:49leading economic engine in northern

2:51Vietnam.
