Four celebrities lead the journey: actor Le Duong Bao Lam, actress Ngoc Phuoc, MC Phi Linh and MC Tran Ngoc. Le Duong Bao Lam won the 2015 “Cuoi xuyen Viet” comedy competition, while Ngoc Phuoc also emerged from that contest and has acted in films and TV. Phi Linh and Tran Ngoc are experienced MCs who have hosted a range of entertainment and educational programmes.

Each week the hosts travel to a different Vietnamese city – Ha Long, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Hue, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau and Can Tho – where they sample local dishes, meet chefs and hear stories that reveal everyday life and regional culture.

The show is jointly organised by the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information, VnExpress, FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Chefs Association for Vocational Training and Employment (VICA). Techcombank acts as the strategic partner. Organizers said the programme aims to promote appreciation of Vietnamese culture, support local communities and introduce Vietnam to domestic and international audiences, in line with Politburo Resolution No. 80.
