Manchester United Gets Approval for Fifth Summer Transfer

Manchester United's forward Bryan Mbeumo has agreed to let the team try to sign Fulham defender Antonee Robinson. The team wants another left-back to support Luke Shaw. United is interested in Robinson before the new season starts.

Harry Amass could be a backup for Shaw, but he might be loaned out if another player is signed. Robinson is one of the players United is considering. He has played for Fulham for six seasons and made 215 appearances.

Robinson is older than the age United usually looks for in new players.

However, Mbeumo is not concerned about Robinson's age and has praised him.

Mbeumo said Robinson was the toughest defender he faced last year.

Mbeumo talked about playing against Robinson on a podcast and how much he has improved.

Mbeumo said he used to play against Robinson when he was at Wigan and saw how much he changed. Robinson was athletic but not good with his feet at first.

But over time, Robinson got much better.

Now Robinson can attack, defend, and is strong and good with his feet, making him hard to play against.

Mbeumo's opinion of Robinson should be taken seriously because he has played against many teams.

Robinson could be bought for around £25million, which could be a good deal for United.

If United signs Robinson, he and Shaw could work well together, and this would help Harry Amass develop at a good pace.
