Vietnam Airlines Introduces Self-Service Check-in for International Flights

Vietnam Airlines has started a self-service check-in system at Hanoi airport in partnership with the airport.

Before this, the airline had already introduced self-service check-in at some other airports in Vietnam and abroad.

The service is also available at some major airports outside Vietnam, such as in Singapore, Germany, and Japan.

At Hanoi airport, passengers can use the self-service check-in from six hours before their flight until one hour before. They can also drop off their bags from three hours before until 50 minutes before the flight. The machines are located in Terminal 2.

The self-service check-in allows passengers to print their boarding passes and baggage tags. They can then attach the tags to their bags and drop them off at the counter. Airline staff are available to help if needed.

The head of Vietnam Airlines said that the self-service check-in helps passengers to check in more quickly and easily, especially during busy times. It also allows airline staff to focus on other important tasks.

Vietnam Airlines plans to review the self-service check-in system and may introduce it at more airports in the future.
