Google Pixel 11 Pro: What to Expect

Google Pixel 11 Pro: What to Expect
This year, we expect four new phones:
Pixel 11
Pixel 11 Pro
Pixel 11 Pro XL
Pixel 11 Pro Fold
Let's focus on the Pixel 11 Pro. What new features will it have? The Pro model is usually the more premium phone.
We asked people to predict what Apple will do next. See the results and find out how to win an Apple Watch!
Google will unveil the phones in New York City on August 12. We will report live from the event. The phones will be in stores a couple of weeks later.
Everyone is expecting price increases for tech products. Google has not announced prices yet, but a leak suggests the Pixel 11 Pro will start at $1,099. This is a $100 increase from the Pixel 10 Pro.
Another leak says the Pixel 11 Pro XL will start at $1,299, which is also a $100 increase.
Android Headlines leaked the full specs and prices for the Pixel 11 series. This leak says the Pixel 11 Pro will cost $1,099 and the Pro XL will cost $1,299.
There was an Amazon leak with draft listings for the Pixel 11 phones. This leak revealed some early details:
The listings might have placeholder information, but they seem mostly accurate.
We do not expect big design changes this year. Google posted a video showing the phone before the launch event.
The video shows a small, colored light in the camera bar. This might be part of a new 'Pixel Glow' system to show notifications.
The glow indicator is actually called 'HiLight'. It features prominently in teasers, and we will have more details soon.
The teaser video does not show much, but it reveals the Pixel 11 Pro's basic design is similar to last year's. It has a horizontal camera bar on the back.
Leaks suggest the color options will be:
Olive
Obsidian
Canyon
Fog
These colors are not very vibrant, but that is typical for 'Pro' smartphones. The Pixel 11 might have more interesting colors.
Based on leaks, here are the specs for the Pixel 11 Pro: 6.3-inch OLED display, 2856x1280 resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate.
The display has 3600 nits peak brightness.
The phone has a Google Tensor G6 processor.
It comes with 12 or 16 GB of RAM.
Storage options are 256 or 512 GB.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL has a 1TB storage option.
The battery is 4850 mAh.
The only differences between the regular Pro and the XL are the display and battery size. The XL has a 6.9-inch display and a 5115 mAh battery.
The specs show a notable downgrade from the Pixel 10 Pro. The new phone might have 12 GB of RAM, which is less than before.
If you want 16 GB of RAM, you might need to buy a more expensive model with 512 GB or 1 TB of storage.
The Pixel Pro phones always have better camera specs than the base models. This is one of the main reasons to buy the Pro.
Last year's Pixel 10 Pro had a 50 MP main lens, 48 MP ultra-wide lens, and 48 MP telephoto lens. This year's megapixel counts might be the same.
There is a rumor of a new 120x digital zoom feature, but it is not confirmed.
Leaks suggest the selfie camera might be 13 MP, which is a downgrade from last year's 48 MP front camera.
We will report live from the Made By Google event on August 12. Check back then for confirmed details and news.
