Hurdle has five rounds. In the first round, you try to guess a word. You see which letters are correct, which are in the wrong place, and which are incorrect. If you guess correctly, you move to the next round. The answer from the last round helps you with the next one. You might get some clues or none at all. In the final round, you see all the correct answers from before, with correct and misplaced letters shown.

Remember, the number of times a letter is highlighted does not mean it appears that many times in the final round.
