0:00When you talk to Democrats about what
0:02candidate they're looking at in 2028,
0:04one name has come up a lot recently.
0:06John Oaf, the Democrat from Georgia,
0:09he's wowed people with really impressive
0:11speeches and a focus on corruption in
0:14his rhetoric. I think it's a really
0:15unifying issue for Democrats and it
0:17shows.
0:17>> The truth is that corruption in America
0:22runs a lot deeper than Donald Trump.
0:27He's not just a beneficiary of it. His
0:31rise is a symptom
0:34>> of it. People from across the political
0:37spectrum, we're talking about from the
0:39center right all the way to the Hassan
0:40Pico left, have been excited about John
0:43Osaf's possibilities for 2028. It seems
0:46like he's someone that might finally
0:47unify everyone in the Democratic party.
0:50But there's a catch. There have been
0:51candidates like this before who try to
0:53appeal to everybody rather than having a
0:55clear base. And the track record's not
0:56that great. Look at Marco Rubio in 2016
0:59who tried one version of it or Kla
1:00Harris in 2020 who flamed out before a
1:03single vote was cast. You could kind of
1:05be everything to everyone and end up not
1:07having someone that will propel you
1:08forward. And Osaf's currently at the
1:10bottom of the polls. So, will he fall
1:11into this trap? Stay tuned.
