European Kids Are Less Strong Now
Researchers looked at data from over 417,000 kids in 20 countries. They found that kids' health is getting worse. Their muscle strength, flexibility, and body shape are not as good as before. Kids' strength has been going down since the 1980s. Flexibility has decreased a lot, especially after 2000. Also, kids are getting fatter.
Experts say not exercising is very bad for kids' future health. Most European kids do not exercise for 60 minutes a day as recommended.
Some hard words are: indicator (a sign of something), composition (body fat and muscle), accelerate (happen faster).
