Dollar Value Increases Against Vietnamese Dong
The State Bank of Vietnam set the US dollar value 0.12% higher at 25,463 Vietnamese dong.
The US dollar value increased against the Japanese yen and the euro on Friday. This happened because people doubted a peace deal with Iran, making the US dollar a safer choice, according to Reuters.
The US dollar also got stronger because of higher US Treasury yields. A report said the US Federal Reserve might increase interest rates in September, depending on the economic data.
The US dollar went up slightly to 158.505 yen in the morning in Asia. It had gained 0.4% on Thursday and is expected to rise 0.7% this week after the US and Japan intervened together.
The US dollar increased in value against the euro to $1.1521. It had strengthened by 0.3% in the previous session. The US dollar also got stronger against the British pound to $1.3449.
The Australian dollar went down a little to $0.7029, and the New Zealand dollar decreased to $0.5866.
