Vietnam Names New Deputy Minister for Ethnic Affairs
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has appointed Nguyen Hoai Anh as the new Standing Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs.
The appointment started on July 19.
Nguyen Hoai Anh is a member of the 14th Party Central Committee.
Nguyen Hoai Anh was born in 1977 in Da Nang City. He has a master's degree in public administration and other degrees.
He worked in Binh Thuan Province for many years in different leadership roles.
Nguyen Hoai Anh had many jobs, including working with the provincial Ideology and Culture Commission, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Provincial People's Council.
In July 2025, he moved to Lam Dong Province to work as a deputy secretary.
In September 2025, he became the deputy secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and later the chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.
In January 2026, Nguyen Hoai Anh was chosen as a member of the 14th Party Central Committee.
Now, the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs has five deputy ministers, including Nguyen Hoai Anh as the Standing Deputy Minister.
